We are here to locate firearms, ammo and products you are having trouble locating.

SSP Firearms is not and not trying to be a massive retailer, we want our website to deliver quality information and products in our customer’s best interest.

U.S Customers

It's our privilege to ship firearms to customers across the U.S. We can ship to your local FFL where you will pick up your firearms and complete your Form 4473. If you have questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to call or email.

Colorado Springs

Although SSP Firearms does accept transfers, buys and sells firearms, it is not your typical brick and mortar storefront. Because we are a home-based FFL you will be picking up your firearm from a residence and it does require an appointment. Please see below for details.

From an online perspective SSPFirearms.Com operates the same as most online firearms retailers, although the local aspects of our business operate a bit differently. Please read below to understand more about how our company operates.

Online

Regarding online sales/ecommerce our business runs very similar to most online firearms stores. We ship firearms to your local FFL, and most accessories and ammo can be shipped to you directly. We have standard return, shipping and terms of service to most ecommerce firearms retailers. You can expect quality customer service, responsiveness, and welcoming accommodating interaction.

Local Colorado Customers

Unlike the online experience, our local business is very different from most firearms retailers. We offer many of the same products and services as a local gun shop but in a very different experience. We recognize some customers like this and some like the traditional way better.

Here some of the things our customers say they like about doing business with SSP Firearms:

Because we are a homebased FFL you receive personal attention and transactions are in a more private setting.
We handle transfers from online retailers. You can have your firearm shipped to SSP Firearms and arrange to pick it up. We will do the background check and form 4473 that is required. Transfers are only $25
We do free firearms searches to see if we can assist with finding a firearm you have had trouble finding.
We can order firearms for you, and you can always expect personal service.

Some of the things that are different from a retail store:

SSP Firearms operate by appointment only, so you will have to schedule a window of time for transactions.
If you are looking to purchase a firearm, you will need to call or email to check if we have it available.
We don’t have any Walkin hours.
For security we don’t post our physical address online, we will give it to you when you book your appointment. We are located by Peterson and North Carefree in Colorado Springs for a frame of reference.

We understand and respect that this business approach does not work for everyone and the local business we do will be limited by our limitations. but we feel the personal attention and relationship we build with customers is a comfortable balance.
